ORICA CAR RENTAL SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Car Rental Policies on Waiting Time
We provide free waiting time of up to 45 minutes upon arrivals on each international airport arrival transfer. This time is usually for the client to deplane, pick-up luggage and customs. If the client does not meet the driver or call within 45 minutes upon arrivals of the plane landing we will consider the client a “no-show” and the client will be charged in full for the reservation in accordance to Car Rental Policies.
For hotel pick-ups 15 minutes free wait time is provided. The Clock will start thereafter.
On all reservations the client will be considered a no-show after the free wait time has elapsed. If the client has not met the driver or contacted us by phone, the client will be charged in full for the reservation. To avoid being charged as a no-show, the client cannot leave his or her location without contacting our bookings office.
If the client experiences difficulty locating the driver, the client can contact our bookings office via the contact information provided in the email confirmation and on our website. Leaving the pick-up location without notifying us will result in a no-show fee.
For general bookings, cancellations must be made more than 24 hours before the scheduled service time. Any cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service time will be charged 50% of the invoice value, while cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled service time will be charged the full reservation amount.
No-shows will be charged the full reservation fare.
For all special events change and cancellation policies supersede standard change and cancellation policies and are noted in the email confirmation.
All changes are required to be received by our bookings office at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled service time (at least 24 hours before scheduled service time for events). Changes cannot be made with drivers. If a change cannot be accommodated & results in a cancellation, the client will be charged in accordance with our cancellation policy terms.
Vehicle Request Policy
We reserve the right to change a vehicle.
Rates & Billing
All rates are final upon accepting the booking.
For hourly hire service, including half day and full day hire, the minimum posted number of hours is only the minimum number of hours we will accept an order for, not what the client will be billed for.
Rates are exclusive of 7% VAT taxes.
Out of Pocket Surcharges
There are no out of packet surcharges involved unless caused by the customer that is unreasonable. Parking, Toll are all included in the fee quoted and charged.
Payment via cash will be most suited arrangement. Change will be given in local currency only. We accept credit cards (Visa preferred by the local banks)
Lost or Damaged Items
Orica Car Rental Policies on lost and damaged items. We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to passenger’s personal luggage or personal belongings left in the vehicle. We reserve the right to charge a delivery fee for returning lost items if found. The company will try to assist with customers request, but assume no liability.
Passengers in the vehicle are not permitted to:
- smoke in any Vehicle
- No chewing of Beatle-Nut
- No consumption of alcohol
- put on seat belts at all times
Car Rental Policies for failing to observe these behaviour may result in a surcharge for repair or cleaning charges plus a fee representing loss of earnings for the Driver in the event of the above.
Service Details Accuracy
Car Rental Policies to customer is required to provide us accurate and complete service details, locations points, service dates and times, quantity of passengers and luggage, contact telephone and email. We take no liability or responsibility for problems with service that arise from inaccurate or incomplete information provided. A service charges will apply as per our Rates & Billing Policy, Cancellation Policy, Change Policy and No-Show Policy.
The customer agrees to indemnify the company or persons related for any direct and indirect losses, claims, expenses, damages or liability whatsoever incurred or suffered by us as a result of the negligence, acts or omissions or default under the Contract by the Customer, or its employees, agents or subcontractors or any Passengers.
Car Rental Policies on Child Safety Seats
Orica Car Rental company can provide a child safety seats when requested. A fee may apply, depending on the seat type.
Users child traveling in our vehicles are responsible for installing and using the child safety seats provided, in accordance with state and federal laws.
Acts of God and/or Acts of Mother Nature
In no event of Acts of God, Orica Car Rental Policies will not be liable or responsible for damages of any kind caused by any delay in failure to deliver which was caused by circumstances beyond the companies control, including but not limited to, weather, natural disaster, traffic congestion, accidents, flight delays, road closures, act of God, act of war or terrorism, act of any public authority or sovereign government. These are the Car Rental Policies.
Car Rental Policies on In-Car Complimentary Wi-Fi
Orica Car Rental provides complementary In-Car Wi-Fi. There are significant inherent risk involved in using public wi-fi when accessing or transmitting information through the Internet, whether the connection to the Internet is facilitated through wired or wireless technology.
ALL PASSENGERS THAT HIRE OUR SERVICES AGREE THAT ORICA CAR RENTAL, ITS SUBSIDIARIES, OWNERS, INVESTORS AND INSURERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY TRANSMISSIONS, DATA LOSS, FILE CORRUPT, HACKING OR DAMAGE TO COMPUTER OR PHONE THAT RESULTS FROM LOSS OR SLOW DOWNLOAD OF INFORMATION OR MATERIALS THROUGH OUR SERVICE.
