The 3.2L is a straight 5 cylinder Duratorq turbo diesel engine that is modified to meet American and Canadian emissions standards is rated at 188 PS (138 kW; 185 hp) and 470 NM torque.
2.2L
The 2.2L 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine. Ford introduced is the Duratorq ZSD-422 turbo diesel engine which produced 155 PS (114 kW; 153 hp).

The Ford Everest is designed to clear through rough terrain and wade through flood waters. It has 225mm of ground clearance, which is good enough for 800mm of wading depth. Most Suitable for roads as the roads get really bad when heading out.
